Summary

Join Smartsheet's West Coast Commercial Sales Team as an Account Executive and contribute to the company's revenue goals by acquiring new customers. This remote role, based in the US (Washington), involves selling Smartsheet's full suite of products and services to Growth Business organizations (50-200 employees). You will be responsible for qualifying inbound leads, conducting discovery calls, and managing the sales cycle to exceed quota. This position requires 3+ years of full sales cycle management experience in the SaaS space, strong knowledge of various sales tools, and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

Requirements

  • 3+ years full sales cycle management with a history of performance. Experience in the SaaS space
  • Experience building and maintaining customer relationships in a B2B environment
  • Experience with Solution/Consultative Selling
  • Experience prospecting and managing new client relationships to maximize revenue growth
  • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, Docusign, Outreach, Tableau
  • Natural curiosity to understand the business, implicating pain, return on investment
  • Experience prioritizing and qualifying deals
  • Ability to continuously improve and adopt best practices
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new Logos for Smartsheet by selling our full suite of products and services
  • Develop and win new business opportunities by qualifying inbound leads with urgency and progressing the leads through the full sales cycle with Growth Business organizations (50-200 employee size)
  • Prioritize assigned trial leads and tailor outreach to consistently book meetings and generate pipeline
  • Conduct discovery calls to identify Prospective Customers needs, and to align solution recommendations with customer initiatives
  • Conduct product demonstrations and partner with internal teams, including Sales Engineers, to support the sales cycle
  • Proactively work with internal and external stakeholders to successfully navigate the full sales cycle with urgency
  • Manage transactional and strategic deals to consistently exceed quota
  • Create and maintain Joint Engagement Plans for strategic solution deals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce leveraging MEDDICC qualification guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
