Summary
Join Forerunner's growing GTM team as an energetic Account Executive or Senior Account Executive and drive future growth by building relationships with prospective clients and converting them into satisfied users. You will be responsible for sourcing new leads, closing deals, articulating Forerunner's value, prioritizing the sales pipeline, developing scalable sales strategies, and contributing to product strategy. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, comfortable with ambiguity, and has experience with government sales. Requirements
- Be an excellent, empathetic communicator
- Be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity
- Have experience with or are excited by government sales
- Have 5+ years of professional experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
Responsibilities
- Source new leads and connect with prospects. Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities
- Close new deals. Own an account list, carry a quota and develop plans for winning and expanding business with our government customers
- Articulate the value of Forerunner. Dazzle with demos and domain knowledge in front of our most high-value prospects on a weekly basis
- Prioritize the sales pipeline to align with business goals
- Develop scalable sales strategies
- Contribute to product strategy. Help us drive product strategy by engaging with Product and Engineering teams based on your learnings in the field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling SaaS software or work in the Public Sector
