Remote Business Intelligence Engineer

Join our growing team at Kafene, a leading point-of-sale financing partner dedicated to empowering flexible ownership solutions. We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to help provide technical experience in extracting, integrating, and analyzing critical data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance, or equivalent quantitative field
• 3+ years of work experience in data engineering, and business intelligence engineering
• Experience presenting findings + collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Experience with AWS technologies, SQL, Python warehousing, and building ETL pipelines, and BI Dashboards
• Keen attention to detail, obsessively organized with excellent documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Building of ETL processes using Python and SQL
• Development of CI/CD pipelines for our various tools and technologies (Snowflake, DBT, AWS Services)
• Continued maintenance and build out of our internal data warehouse/datamarts
• Support Partnership opportunities, and interface with Tech, Risk, RevOps, and Marketing to execute cross-functional projects
• Analyze and investigate data defects, and engage with stakeholders to understand the root causes
