Remote Business Systems Administrator

Summary

Join our team as a Business Systems Support Specialist to maintain and improve key business applications, including Payroll and Business Intelligence systems. This role involves cross-training and supporting other areas within the business applications team, ensuring comprehensive team coverage.

Requirements

• 2-5 years system development and system support experience
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to understand and communicate complex business requirements
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning software (SAP or Infor is a plus)
• Familiarity with report writing (SQL and Crystal Reports is a plus)
• High proficiency in SQL and database management/structure
• Familiarity with webapp dev tools/environments (Ex: Tomcat, Java, IntelliJ)

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance testing and maintain test plans
• Write bug reports and enhancement requests for third-party developers
• Develop user and system documentation
• Maintain application structures and manage report distributions
• Assist Timekeepers throughout weekly payroll cycle
• Support maintenance and troubleshooting efforts for Secondary Systems – Infor Lawson, MetOS, HDTracking, Tessitura
• Support Finance department with monthly and yearly processes such as Revenue Sharing
• Manage user roles and deliver training for new users
• Serve as the first point of contact for department inquiries and updates
• Contribute to requirements gathering and system design for new initiatives
