Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, Supply Chain, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience required
  • Four (4) to six (6) years of directly related procurement experience or equivalent combination of training and experience required
  • Strong computer skills are required using office software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Proven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and office management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills with a courteous and pleasant customer service focus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capability to multi-task, self-manage, and self-motivate
  • Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards
  • Authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for completing contracts based on Company templates that cover the requirements provided in the Scope of Work
  • The Scope of Work will require a thorough review of the technical data to ensure the contract contains the negotiated rates, warranties, KPIs, etc
  • Once the contract draft has been completed, please send it to the Supplier for review
  • Ensure the Supplier has completed the review promptly and review any red lines and/or requested document changes
  • Work with Legal Counsel and Procurement Lead to ensure the document is completed and fully executed
  • Complete any internal documents and ROAAEs; ensure they have been reviewed and fully executed
  • Support ongoing contract management as well as coordination of information to provide the end-users
  • Maintain contracts register along with all documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Turner Staffing Group is partnered with an International Mining Services company looking for a Contracts Specialist to join their team! This onsite, project-based position will assist with contract processing for goods and services at a specific Company site. This position directly supports particular areas of the mining operation. It requires the ability to partner with internal and external business partners to achieve the objectives of the operations teams successfully. Remote opportunity for highly-qualified candidate.
