Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE Engineer, or Platform Engineer
  • BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years managing production workloads on AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Proficient in MicroServices architecture and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with tools like Chef, Ansible, or Puppet
  • Familiarity with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform)
  • Experience with tools like ArgoCD or Flux
  • Proficiency with CI/CD and source control management tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)
  • Strong scripting capabilities in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Background in large-scale Linux environments
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the DevOps initiatives
  • Drive automation
  • Ensure the reliability and efficiency of our systems
  • Design hybrid-cloud deployments that are robust and scalable
  • Build and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant systems across the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) spectrum
  • Maintain the application layer of our public and private cloud environments
  • Develop and integrate infrastructure tools to support our production systems
  • Streamlining Provisioning and Configuration Processes
  • Work closely with product, QA, developers, and IT/operations to streamline workflows
  • Take ownership of production stability and performance (include non-standards hours, as needed)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with virtual environments (e.g., VMware)
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Knowledge of software development and development frameworks
  • Experience with event streaming and messaging platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Understanding of storage and networking concepts
