Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is required
  • At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering, operations, or manufacturing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
  • Prior experience in the renewable energy or residential solar sector is highly desirable but not required
  • Proven track record of leading operational improvements in a service-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization: Lead the analysis, design, and improvement of operational processes related to installation, WIP Management, and service operations, focusing on reducing waste, enhancing throughput, and optimizing resource allocation
  • Customer First Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the highest quality in installation and operations
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with key departments including Treasury, Capital Markets, Revenue Management, Accounting, Operations, Dealer Support, Fulfillment, Software & Business Technology, and Sales teams to align strategies with business objectives
  • Technology Enhancement: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and tools (e.g., automation, data analytics, machine learning) to enhance operational performance and system integration across processes
  • Quality Control & Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain metrics to track performance against key operational goals and implement continuous improvement programs aimed at enhancing product quality and reducing cycle times
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics to support informed decision-making, performance tracking, and predictive maintenance for operations
  • Budgeting & Cost Management: Collaborate with finance and operations teams to develop budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining product and service quality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masterโ€™s degree
  • PMP certified or Lean Six Sigma
