Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a CPA
  • 10+ years of experience with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with financial software systems (Netsuite and other standalone P2P tools) and advanced proficiency in Excel

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, international accounting, cash management, accounts payable, expense reimbursements, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other relevant financial laws and regulations
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial statements
  • Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure successful financial reporting outcomes
  • Enhance the company’s financial systems and tools, such as P2P and ERP systems, to facilitate scalable growth and boost operational efficiency.Β  Drive initiatives to automate and streamline accounting processes, utilizing technology to minimize manual tasks and enhance data integrity
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
  • Support the Head of Accounting in strategic initiatives and other financial projects
