Remote Director of Sales Engineering

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of sales/solutions engineering experience
• Minimum 3 to 4 years managing a team of high performing sales/solutions engineers
• A track record of technical success on strategic, enterprise scale opportunities
• Working knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft technology platform and architecture
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure
• Refined presentation and communication skills
• Proficiency in Office applications

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of Sales Engineers
• Work alongside the Chief Revenue Officer, Account Executives and Account Managers to deliver product demonstrations, proposal responses and expand revenue opportunities for Gimmal
• Guide your team to build strong relationships with IT and Business leaders and perform discovery to understand business problems and strategize to develop innovative solutions -leveraging Gimmal products and our industry partners
• Provide experience, guidance, training and insight for strategic opportunities
• Act as a critical liaison between Sales and Product, sharing critical feedback with the Product Management, Client Success and Engineering functions at Gimmal
