  • Have extensive contact with subsidiaries
  • Guide the organisation on accounting related matters
  • Contribute to a variety of tasks commonly found in a collaborative accounting department

We are seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join our dynamic and ambitious team of 4 group accountants with various levels of seniority and expertise and report to CAO. The Group Accounting team is responsible for the consolidation of global financial reporting and for providing financial data on consolidated level and ensure timely, accurate and uniform data to internal and external parties.

The position is based in Stockholm, Gothenburg or Malmö, but with the possibility to work 100 % remote.

The essence of the role

As our new Group Accountant, you’ll team up with colleagues from various business units around the globe, sharing your financial expertise and insights. You’ll define reporting requirements for our group companies, engage in the development process, and be a valuable advisor and conversational partner on all things related to reporting and consolidation.

As our new Group Accountant, you will:

  • Prepare group monthly financial closings
  • Prepare group account reconciliations
  • Improve efficiency in monthly closing process
  • Review and analyse subsidiary monthly financial reporting
  • Prepare Group Annual Report and Quarterly Reports
  • Have extensive contact with subsidiaries

In order to be successful in this role, we believe you have:

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent education
  • At a minimum 5 years relevant experience from similar tasks at a Group Accounting Department
  • Strong IFRS accounting knowledge
  • Strong experience in excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experienced user of Finance Systems
  • User experience in consolidation tool AARO is an additional bonus
  • You may have previously worked either at subsidiary level or at group level
