Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain insightful and interactive dashboards in Redash, providing clear visualizations of complex game data
  • Construct and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data from Postgres and Athena data sources, including game logs, player databases, and marketing platforms
  • Collaborate with game designers, producers, and support teams to understand their data needs and translate them into effective dashboards and reports
  • Develop and maintain documentation for dashboards and underlying data models
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as player retention, monetization, and engagement, and provide regular reports to stakeholders
  • Analyze player behavior, in-game economies, and marketing campaign performance to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
  • Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies for game design, marketing, and live operations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest BI tools, technologies, and best practices in the gaming industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python for data automation and analysis
  • Experience with A/B testing analysis and reporting in a gaming context
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices related to player data

ABOUT THIS POSITION

Level up your career with Digital Extremes! We’re searching for a skilled and enthusiastic Intermediate Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our games and business strategies by transforming raw data into actionable insights. You’ll focus on building dashboards that visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), player behavior with a particular emphasis on funnel analysis, platform and regional comparisons.
