Requirements

  • Knowledge of IP networking, LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and security protocols
  • Familiarity with cloud-based network management platforms (e.g., Meraki Dashboard)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification is required

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the company's network infrastructure, primarily using Cisco Meraki equipment, with supplemental UniFi network management experience
  • Ensure network security, monitor performance, and optimize bandwidth to maintain high-speed, reliable connectivity across the organization
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and disruption to business operations
  • Implement and configure new network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points (Meraki and UniFi)
  • Maintain thorough documentation of network configurations, equipment inventory, and network performance reports
  • Work with external vendors and service providers to ensure network upgrades and maintenance are completed smoothly
  • Provide network-related support to users, including setting up network access, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and supporting remote users

Are you a skilled Network Administrator looking for an opportunity to work with a forward-thinking IT solutions provider? We are seeking a talented and proactive individual to support and optimize the company’s network infrastructure.  As the Network Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the organization’s network infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of both wired and wireless networks, primarily leveraging Cisco Meraki systems, with additional experience in UniFi networks.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in managing network configurations, monitoring systems, and troubleshooting issues to ensure seamless connectivity for all users.

This is an incredible remote opportunity to work for a US-based company.

What You’ll Do

  • Network Management: Administer and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, primarily using Cisco Meraki equipment, with supplemental UniFi network management experience.
  • Security & Performance: Ensure network security, monitor performance, and optimize bandwidth to maintain high-speed, reliable connectivity across the organization.

What You Need

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Cisco Meraki and UniFi networks.
  • Knowledge of IP networking, LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and security protocols.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based network management platforms (e.g., Meraki Dashboard).
  • Certifications:
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification is required.
  • Advanced certifications (CCNP, CCIE) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and Cisco systems is essential.
