Description

The Project Manager role at HIT is responsible for timely management, within budget and client expectations, as it relates to our large-scale projects. This includes, but is not limited to, account management, project coordination, project engineering, and sales engineering. This position ensures a repeatable, consistent experience within our current projects through detailed planning, communication, and implementation.

As the Project Manager you will be assisting in these overall responsibilities of the Professional Services Department. You will be overseeing various internal projects, managing each team, and coordinating timelines and resources.

Project Manager Job Responsibilities

• Drive implementation and project life cycle – on time and within budget.
• Provide voluble insight on implementation procedures, and process flow that considers industry best practices.
• Provide vendor knowledge to properly support workflow and assist in client issues.
• Thoroughly identify project responsibilities with collaborators and your team.
• Manage each member of your team to ensure work is being done appropriately and in a timely manner to ensure the timelines are on track
• Appropriately manage client and internal resources through constant communication
• Lead project onboarding for implementation as well as offboarding
• Make use of project management skills, attention to detail, time management and communication to meet the standards Homefield IT has for its clients.
• Assist leadership in preserving and improving upon the procedures and processes in place

Who You Are:

• At least five years’ experience of increasing levels of technical knowledge and exposure to the following technologies: desktop support and troubleshooting, firewalls, networking, routing, server administration, active directory, virtualization (Hyper-V and VMware), and disaster recovery.
• Technical certifications - Actually, we don’t require this.  We are more concerned about what you know than by your test taking abilities, but we won’t count it against you.
• Focus on customer service - We are passionate about going above and beyond to provide our customers with excellent service. We expect you to be of the same mindset.
• Demonstrated history of job stability – We invest a lot in our employees. We are looking for candidates who want a career, not a short-term gig.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends - On occasion, we do require work outside of our standard business hours to accommodate client needs.

Experience/Skills Required

• TCP/IP networking stack, switches, routers and firewalls
• VLAN configuration and the ability to support
• Peripheral devices, including network printers, scanners, etc.
• Anti-Virus and malware protection solutions
• Backup Technologies (Shadow Protect)
• Microsoft Office 365
• Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS & DHCP
• Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
• VMware and Hyper-V server builds
• Cloud computing infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• ConnectWise Manage
• Ability to assume responsibility and ownership for work performed
• Complete command of English language both written and conversational
• Experience in a management role

Pay Range

$100,000—$130,000 USD
