Summary

Join Underdog, the fastest-growing sports gaming company, as an IT Support Technician! You will provide technical support for hardware and software across our office and remote staff, managing and troubleshooting various systems. This role requires intermediate-level IT support experience, proficiency in Mac and Windows environments, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

  • A proactive technician with intermediate-level experience in IT support, capable of handling a range of technical problems independently
  • Knowledgeable in Mac and Windows environments, with the ability to support both
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom
  • Understanding of network concepts
  • Passionate about solving problems, especially diagnosing and fixing technical issues
  • Someone with a strong, positive attitude, a knack for customer service, and a love for helping people - β€œService with a smile”
  • Able to work independently, complete tasks in a timely manner, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication with the ability to translate technical information in a non-technical format

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software systems across our local office and remote staff
  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Zoom Rooms and AV equipment
  • Troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues, including computers, mobile devices, printers, and network connectivity
  • Assist with software and hardware installations and upgrades, ensuring seamless deployment
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff on more complex technical problems, escalating when needed
  • Keep track of work and troubleshooting steps using our ticketing system
  • Deploy laptops as part of onboarding of new employees as well as providing spares to existing employees
  • Maintain hardware inventory
  • Document support procedures and update our internal knowledge base
  • Support IT projects and participate in larger rollouts for the organization
  • Participate in IT projects and roll-outs

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience supporting Okta and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
