Requirements

• Motivated by a career in PR, or communications more generally
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Interest in personal finance, deal hunting or saving money is desirable
• Studying a related university course to maximise knowledge and experience – such as media, journalism, film, communications, politics or finance
• Eagerness to learn about the PR industry and media communications
• Accuracy, attention to detail and proof reading skills
• Clear communicator - written and verbally
• Personable – a desire to build relationships and a genuine interest in people to manage internal and external relationships, including potential case studies
• Time management and prioritisation skills
• Creativity and imagination – someone who is alive to new and emerging trends who is not afraid to contribute content ideas from early on

Responsibilities

• Work with and assist the TopCashback Press Officers and PR Manager as needed
• Create proactive media communications which target personal finance and consumer journalists and influencers
• Brainstorm creative ideas, help craft headline-making media angles or draft a comment for a journalist
• Monitor brand and competitor media coverage and produce PowerPoint reports
