Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, with at least 2 years in a lead role
- Proven experience working with external software development agencies or subcontractors
- Strong background in managing end-to-end product development for software applications
- Solid understanding of software development practices, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and systems architecture
- Experience working in agile and scrum environments
- Ability to engage with technical stakeholders and understand complex systems and architectures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and external teams simultaneously
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana
- Ability to clearly communicate project progress and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Define, communicate, and own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy based on market trends, customer feedback, and business goals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish clear product priorities and objectives
- Ensure product alignment with business strategy, balancing innovation with technical feasibility
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external development agencies and subcontractors
- Manage relationships with external partners, including defining scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Ensure agencies adhere to technical specifications, coding standards, and project milestones
- Conduct regular progress reviews and mitigate any risks to ensure project success
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable technical specifications
- Review technical documentation, including architecture, APIs, and integration plans, to ensure alignment with product goals
- Assess and resolve technical challenges that arise during the development lifecycle
- Advocate for scalable, maintainable, and efficient solutions
- Oversee project timelines, dependencies, and risks to ensure on-time delivery of key milestones
- Manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, including user stories, sprints, and retrospectives
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders, balancing short-term and long-term goals
- Ensure the effective communication of project updates, risks, and blockers across all stakeholders
- Analyze product performance metrics to guide iteration and continuous improvement
- Use data to inform decisions regarding new features, optimizations, and future product iterations
