Licensed Clinical Therapist

Summary

Join TimelyCare as a 1099 contracted therapist and provide remote mental health counseling services to college students. You will offer therapy, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with students to address their needs. As a licensed professional, you'll utilize evidence-based modalities and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation. TimelyCare offers flexible hours, malpractice insurance, and compensation for late cancellations. The role requires a current Indiana license (LPC, LMHC, or LCSW) and strong clinical skills. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication, assessment, and writing abilities, along with experience working with young adults.

Requirements

• Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
• Active State License(s) in Indiana, specifically
• Strong communication and diagnostic skills
• Strong clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills
• Clear and thorough clinical writing
• Skilled in clinical writing, crisis intervention, and safety/treatment planning
• Experienced providing therapeutic services to young adults, adolescents, at risk populations, or have worked in a community mental health, crisis support, or a college counseling environment

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning to a primarily young adult population
• Document concurrently and submit HIPAA compliant documentation using TimelyCare's electronic health record
• Develop and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session
• Communicate cross functionally with other teams/departments in order to support care continuation as needed
• Adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics
• Work with the student/client to establish and develop treatment goals and document accordingly
• Utilize active listening skills and evidence based modalities (SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, ACT) in order to build rapport, establish boundaries, and progress student/client care
• Submit appropriate documentation in the EHR (the TimelyCare platform) in a punctual manner
• Prepared to adapt to the changing needs of the population we serve
• Able to remain calm and maintain composure during a potential high stress scenario
• Respond with empathy, professionalism, and meet clients where they are at
• Model respectful conduct with all students, peers, and support staff

Preferred Qualifications

Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology)
