Summary
Join Remote as a Manager of mobility and make a personal difference in the global employment space. This is an exciting time to join our Onboarding and mobility team, where you will manage a high-volume operational team that directly impacts how our customer's employees are onboarded into Remote.
Requirements
- Management experience in a high-volume operational team
- A people-first leader that can operate independently and take ownership of the results of the team
- Several years of experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or similar roles in the immigration space
- A clear understanding of immigration and typical processes involved in immigration compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Previous experience in the tech industry or a hyper-growth and scaling environment is ideal
- Writes and speaks fluent English; additional languages are a plus
- Experience working remotely is a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume operational team
- Independently deliver on team objectives with an understanding of how they impact the broader Mobility team and other related teams
- Invest time, energy, and enthusiasm in developing self/others to improve performance and gain knowledge in new areas
- Provide ongoing support and constructive coaching to increase employee effectiveness
- Create long and short-term strategies to align with Mobility's vision and goals, including setting targets to meet timelines
- Report to Senior Management on metrics, targets, and project alignment
- Review team budgets and ensure adherence
- Oversee the development of relevant processes and procedures to allow prompt and accurate processing and monitoring of immigration and visa applications
- Manage the preparation of documentation required for new service offerings and organize the training material to roll out for use by other departments
- Utilize multiple data sources to analyze and resolve complex issues
- Lead projects, delegate, guide, and act as a go-to resource for Mobility Specialists
- Maintain regular contact with key colleagues and stakeholders, using formal and informal opportunities to expand and strengthen relationships
- Recognize group interactions and modify communication styles to suit different situations and audiences
- Seek understanding of relevant stakeholders' current and future needs and customize services to address them better
- Proactively identify new ideas/opportunities from multiple immigration sources to improve productivity
- Demonstrate an enthusiasm for learning new tools and procedures to address short-term challenges
- View difficult situations and problems as opportunities for improvement
