Responsibilities

  • Perform Audits and load time data using OTL, Excel spreadsheets, and manual timecards into the system
  • Set up and process employee direct deposit information, tax withholding, and voluntary payroll deductions
  • Complete employment verifications
  • Set up wage garnishments according to federal and state regulations
  • Calculate retroactive wage payments to employees
  • Process employee status transactions including new hires, terminations and leaves of absence
  • Process a multi-state bi-weekly payroll for both hourly and salary employees
  • Process employee payments for relocations and other personal reimbursement programs
  • Help test system upgrades and legislative changes
  • Assist the General Ledger personnel in researching variances in payroll accounts
  • Audits paperwork entered into the HRIS system by the Human Resources personnel

Job Description

As Payroll Specialist II, you will perform a full range of payroll functions and payroll processing activities to ensure accurate and timely wage payments to employees. You will report to the Payroll team Lead.

This position is hybrid and you must be able to work from the Costa Mesa, CA office as needed, typically 1-2 times a month.

You will:

  • Perform Audits and load time data using OTL, Excel spreadsheets, and manual timecards into the system.
  • Set up and process employee direct deposit information, tax withholding, and voluntary payroll deductions.
  • Complete employment verifications.
  • Set up wage garnishments according to federal and state regulations.
