Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, with a focus on ADP payroll systems
• In-depth knowledge of garnishment processing
• Strong understanding of payroll principles, laws, and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and timely using ADP payroll systems
• Manage and process all types of employee garnishments, including but not limited to child support, tax levies, and creditor garnishments
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in the ADP system
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer payroll-related inquiries from employees
• Prepare and submit payroll reports as required
• Assist in audits by providing payroll information and documentation
• Collaborate with the HR and Finance departments to ensure smooth payroll operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Payroll (CPP) is a plus
• Experience in a similar contract role is preferred
