Job Overview:

The Omada for Joint and Muscle Health program delivers technologically enabled, evidenced based physical therapy services through the Omada for Joint and Muscle Health mobile application. One-to-one care is provided directly and exclusively by physical therapists licensed in the patient’s state of residence, in accordance with all applicable state laws and practice acts.  As the first fully-digital company to earn URAC Telehealth Accreditation for Musculoskeletal (MSK) services, we are serious about delivering exceptional virtual physical therapy that meets our patients where they are. The MSK team is passionate about the efficacy of telehealth physical therapy, evident in the 5 peer reviewed publications produced in the last 2 years. We are looking for experienced PTs licensed to join us as telehealth physical therapists on a part time basis. This is a flexible, contract position with Physera Physical Therapy Group, the exclusive clinical partner of Omada Health, in which you will be reimbursed on a per case basis. You will set your own schedule to evaluate patients and create individualized care plans that utilize digital tools to enhance the patient experience and maximize your clinical impact. Follow up care will include a combination of synchronous and asynchronous care, including video visits, asynchronous exercise assessments, and regular chat messaging all performed through the Omada for Joint and Muscle Health mobile app. This is a great opportunity for physical therapists looking for additional hours and the flexibility to see patients from home!

Your Impact:

  • Deliver Evidence-Based, Personalized Care  to Empower Patients: You will partner with patients to deeply understand and meet their unique health objectives, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented approach to care.

  • Engage in Dynamic Virtual Consultations: You will conduct video visits through the innovative Omada for Joint and Muscle Health platform, delivering the comprehensive Omada treatment program directly to patients in the comfort of their homes through a mobile application on their smart phone or device.

  • Design Individualized Exercise Programs: You will design comprehensive, app-based therapeutic care plans that utilize proven interventions and methodologies to deliver top-tier, personalized, and evidence-based care that addresses each patient’s specific needs.You will be an advocate for a healthier lifestyle by designing programs that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, leading to a more robust and active life.

  • Provide Continuous Asynchronous Motivation to Optimize Outcomes: You will regularly evaluate, monitor, and celebrate progress every step of the way, even outside of scheduled sessions, ensuring treatments are effective and adjustments are made for continuous improvement.

Document with Precision and Care: Maintain meticulous records of patient care services, ensuring transparency, continuity, and the highest standards of professional practice.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Active, unencumbered physical therapy license in one or more states.
  • Graduate degree in physical therapy.

To stand out:

  • Additional certifications such as Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, Board-Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist, and ​​Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist
  • Previous experience with telehealth physical therapy or virtual care delivery
  • Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) software.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or other languages.
