Requirements

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets (Excel), with the ability to create and maintain detailed reports
  • Experience with Asana or other project management tools to track tasks and deadlines
  • Strong web search skills for identifying new trends, brands, and potential partnerships
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to write professional, tone-conscious emails
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in purchasing and inventory management
  • A proactive approach to anticipating needs and problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently and make suggestions for process improvements
  • A fast learner who can adapt to changing processes and workflows
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to manage expectations realistically

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Buying Calendar Tracker to ensure timely purchasing and stay ahead of deadlines
  • Contact brands for linesheets, lookbooks, and inventory updates. Build strong relationships with existing and potential brands
  • Organize selected products on the master digital merchandising board for easy access and tracking
  • Create and maintain purchase orders; update the shared Open To Buy spreadsheet for accurate tracking of inventory and purchases
  • Submit orders to brands via email or their online systems and cross-check order confirmations, syncing them with internal calendars
  • Ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any logistics issues by coordinating with suppliers
  • Review and process invoices to ensure accuracy before payments are made
  • Analyze sales data to inform and support future buying decisions
  • Use Asana to manage and track tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of duties
