Remote Product Design Manager

Summary

Join us at Docplanner Tech as the Product Design Manager for the 'Booking' area, overseeing the end-to-end experience for patients from discovering a doctor to securing an appointment online. As a design leader with e-commerce background and passion for user-centered design, you will lead a talented team of product designers, build a culture of design excellence, and contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Docplanner's products.

Responsibilities

• Lead a talented, diverse, inclusive team of product designers that consistently delivers on projects and is well-balanced across a range of design skill sets
• Build a culture of design excellence within Docplanner and advocate for user-centric design solutions and processes
• Lead and oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch in partnership with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and content designers
• Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into useful and valuable products for our users
• Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Docplanner’s products
• Identify design opportunities by connecting user’s insights, data and business goals
• Define, craft, and evolve designs within visual systems and/or standards specific to Docplanner
• Profound understanding of how great design drives key business KPIs and overall business objectives
• Proactively solicit and provide feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually raise our bar for quality, while also taking on mentorship
• Cultivate a healthy design process for the team at Docplanner, and be a key contributor to our product strategy
• Effectively communicate your team's product goals (both within the team and outside the team) at Docplanner, and connect related projects across the company so that problems or joint decisions can be resolved quickly
