Requirements

• 10+ years of creative direction, editorial, and/or product marketing experience
• 5+ years managing design and content teams to create powerful work
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership
• Strong ability to think strategically and hold a systems view, while creatively generating multiple solutions
• Clear direction and an ability to inspire teams to do their best work through iterations
• Ability to distill the heart of a story with compelling examples to bring it to life
• Well traveled in many regions, with the ability to hold a global perspective of Airbnb’s markets

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of writers, editors, and local collaborators to shape Airbnb’s point of view for cities globally
• Ensure brand voice and a consistent global perspective in the work
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply, and business to ensure the work drives meaningful results
• Share creative direction and feedback in a collaborative and supportive manner to simplify and sharpen the work
• Uphold a high standard of quality in the work, and drive and enlist collaborators to achieve weekly goals
• Problem solve any roadblocks with curiosity and clear communication
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, gathering their input into the work
