Remote Product Manager, Financial Accounts

Summary

Join Stripe's Money Management Abstractions team as a key contributor in building the future of money management on the Stripe platform. You will work closely with engineering, product leaders, and cross-functional partners to design world-class APIs for storing money on Stripe.

Requirements

• User-first: synthesize external and internal (e.g. Connect, Treasury) user demands to inform design choices and prioritization, and manage pilot / betas
• Comfortable across the stack: our work sits in-between our network teams and our users
• Technically curious: comfortable in technical conversations, opinionated on user needs, and willing to work closely with engineering and tech leads on API design
• Cross-functional: coordinate closely across product teams and functions (e.g. Legal, Treasury, Financial Crimes, etc.)
• Strong communicators: radiate intent to ensure partners, stakeholders, and leaders understand our progress and bottlenecks
• Strong executors: move with speed and urgency to make the future (“v2”) a reality

Responsibilities

• Work closely with MMA engineering, leaders across MMS (Network, Platform, MMCE), product leaders across Stripe (Accounts, Connect, BaaS), and cross-functional partners to help build out the Money Management Abstractions
• Be responsible for the set of abstractions which allow users to store money on Stripe
• Think strategically about how to increase the value for our users of storing money on Stripe, while overcoming technical challenges to design world-class API’s
