Remote Product Manager, Retro Funding

As a Product Manager at Optimism Collective and Optimism Unlimited, you will lead the development and scaling of the Retro Funding infrastructure, define product requirements, collaborate with design teams, and engage with external engineering teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a product management role, with a strong track record of successfully shipping products
• Specific experience in shipping Web3 products, demonstrating a deep understanding of blockchain technologies, decentralized applications, and their unique development challenges and opportunities
• Experience working in or with decentralized governance systems, understanding the dynamics and mechanisms involved in community-led decision-making processes
• Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external teams to drive project milestones and deliverables
• Willingness to get your hands dirty and work close to the ground, including performing manual tasks when necessary
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• A strategic thinker with an analytical mind, capable of breaking down complex problems into actionable steps and guiding teams towards solutions

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and scaling of the Retro Funding infrastructure
• Oversee and guide the full product lifecycle, from concept through launch and iterative improvements
• Define product requirements and specifications by gathering input from stakeholders
• Collaborate with the design team to develop and define the user experience of all Retro Funding tools and interfaces
• Engage with external engineering teams and partners through Foundation Missions to ensure the successful implementation and integration of various components of the Retro Funding ecosystem
