Requirements

  • Experience of developing and supporting volunteer-led or community programmes in school or community settings, ideally on a regional or national scale
  • Knowledge of the educational landscape in England and how schools operate
  • A track record of building and maintaining successful partnerships
  • Excellent communication skills; you should feel comfortable presenting to different audiences and be able to write clearly
  • Experience of facilitating high-quality training, ideally for educators
  • Good data and analytical skills, and the ability to use data effectively to improve what we do
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the UK, with overnight stays when necessary

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate activities that lead to the growth and retention of impactful clubs in the North of England
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with new and existing stakeholders to ensure the visibility and growth of Code Club in the North of England
  • Deliver relevant and timely support to club organisers and volunteers including training and community-building events, and contribute to the creation of tools and resources
  • Provide content for Code Club communications including mailings, blogs, social media content, and newsletters
  • Support Code Clubs’ engagement with other Raspberry Pi Foundation programmes including Astro Pi and Coolest Projects
  • Consult new and existing club organisers to inform programme development, and work with colleagues to ensure Code Club processes are efficient and effective
  • Contribute to the engagement and support of clubs globally, including responding to incoming queries, moderation of our online course, club verification, and updating website content
