Summary
Join HowGood, an independent research company, as a SaaS Sales Director to drive growth of their sustainability intelligence platform, Latis. You will focus on acquiring new clients, leveraging your SaaS sales expertise and passion for sustainability. This East Coast-based (NY/NJ/CT) remote role requires proven success in exceeding sales quotas and generating leads. You'll need at least 5 years of SaaS sales experience, closing $100k+ deals. Requirements
- Be passionate about creating a positive impact in the world, and excited to learn about agriculture, sustainability, and transforming the global food system
- Have recent experience calling on CPG, retail, ingredient suppliers and food service clients
- Have at least 5 years experience in SaaS sales and know how to rock a quota, closing $100k+ deals with a track record of exceeding quota
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales quotas and pipeline generation goals
- Enhance connectivity between HowGood customers, generating a network effect of sustainability transformation across the worldβs food & agriculture system
- Ensure predictable revenue and accurate forecasting
- Identify and sign new clients to the Latis platform
- Generate your own leads through networking and prospecting, including cold calling, as well as leveraging SDR, Marketing and PR activities of HowGood
- Make sales presentations to prospects at all levels, researching prospects and effectively conveying how the HowGood platform can deliver value in terms of sales lift, carbon emission reduction and improvements in ESG goals
- Identify trends within the market and help be a changemaker. Relay ideas back to the sales and product teams to further inform product roadmap
Preferred Qualifications
- Have thought-leadership (and public speaking) in agriculture, sustainability, product development, supply systems, innovation, transparency, biodiversity, labor risk, or nutrition
- Have capacity for big-picture strategic thinking and customer-oriented innovation
- Have experience prospecting; you will be responsible for sourcing most of your own leads
