Summary
Join our team as a Sales Representative and achieve maximum sales profitability and growth within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the companyβs chemical products.
Requirements
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and/or government regulations in English
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in English
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of Managers, Staff, clients, customers, and the general public in English
- Must be tactful, mature and flexible
- Must have the ability to review, assess and understand technical documents, drawings and other documents with no advance exposure and then engage in discussions internally and with customers
- Must have the ability to understand legal/ financial documents (contracts, purchase orders, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Promotes and sells the Companyβs chemical products to potential and current customers
- Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers
- Generating leads; by visiting customers & potential customers; by giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients; by negotiating all contracts with prospective and current clients; by meeting or exceeding sales goals; by coordinating sales efforts with marketing initiatives
- Maintaining client records; helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations; preparing accurate and timely sales information and reports for senior managers, marketing and sales teams as well as keeping expense accounts/reports
- Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders; expediting, coordinating and resolving customer or supplier inquiries regarding the terms of sales, shipping detail, customs regulations, inventory and status of accounts
