Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience as an SAP PM/QM Consultant, with hands-on experience in configuring and supporting SAP PM and QM modules
  • Strong understanding of SAP PM processes, including equipment maintenance, work order management, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and reporting
  • Solid knowledge of SAP QM processes, including inspection planning, quality notifications, quality control, quality certificates, and reporting
  • Experience with SAP integration with other modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and familiarity with IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs
  • Proficiency in creating functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and end-user training materials
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and provide innovative SAP solutions that meet client needs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot SAP PM/QM issues effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements related to SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and QM (Quality Management) modules and translate them into technical specifications
  • Design, configure, and customize SAP PM and QM modules to meet client-specific requirements, including work order management, preventive maintenance, equipment management, inspection planning, quality control, and notifications
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the successful implementation of SAP PM and QM solutions
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to integrate SAP PM/QM with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems
  • Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for SAP PM/QM issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, user manuals, and training materials
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and stakeholders to enhance their understanding and usage of SAP PM/QM functionalities
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of SAP projects and enhancements while adhering to quality standards and best practices
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of SAP PM/QM processes
  • Stay up-to-date with SAP best practices, new features, and industry trends related to Plant Maintenance and Quality Management
