Requirements

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with 2-3 years experience as a Scrum Master
  • Strong self-organization and self-management skills
  • Experience implementing scrum for various sized teams
  • Experience using Agile backlog management tools
  • Experience with distributed teams
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and creativity skills, able to maintain composure in a chaotic environment and promote a sensible and logical approach to issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Continued focus on Agile methodologies within engineering teams
  • Facilitate stand-ups, retrospectives and other activities for up to 2 scrum teams
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams on user story refinement
  • Provide input to sprint commitment and release planning - using team capacity and team velocity
  • Continuous improvement
  • Communicate team progress and dependencies with team leads
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration thru Scrum of Scrums, R&D demos
  • Manage team metrics
  • Be an advocate for Agile and the Scrum methodology
