Remote Senior Accountant

Summary

Join Bitcoin Depot as a Senior Accountant to report to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for fixed asset portfolio management, month-end journal entry processing, balance sheet reconciliations, and providing timely analysis and research on critical accounts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of overall general accounting experience required
• High attention to detail required
• Ability to process high volumes of data required
• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are a plus
• Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial data
• Gather necessary data to support disclosures, tax requests, and audit requests
• Develop/update ad hoc reports and forms as needed to support routine activities, accounting needs, and financial reporting needs
• Create and maintain procedural documentation and training materials to support existing or newly established procedures
• Ensure compliance with all Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, including compilation of control evidence
• Assist with the monthly rent payment processes for all store owners
• Promote innovation and create workflow efficiencies in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Public accounting experience preferred
• SaaS or Technology industry experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance is a plus
• Experience with SAGE application is a plus
