Remote Senior Accountant

Summary

Join our team and help us save lives every day as a full-time Senior Accountant in Berlin or remotely in Europe. We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 3+ years of experience in finance, preferably in the medical devices/pharmaceutical industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field with 3+ years of experience
• Relevant finance experience industry required (i.e. medical devices/pharmaceutical)
• Must be familiar with laws, regulations, standards, and guidance governing on local statutory requirements, e.g. financial statements creation in SAP
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Fluency in English required

Responsibilities

• Prepare local GAAP entries to create HGB financial statements on basis of US-GAAP entries
• Maintain open communication: Work Closely with the local tax advisor to receive and provide necessary information
• Collaborate with the legal department: Ensure accurate and compliant GPO calculations in a reviewing function
