Summary

Join Storable as the Sr. Director of Account Management and build a scalable account management function from the ground up. You will own relationships with key Marketplace partners, ensuring their success on the platform. Responsibilities include developing communication and engagement processes, translating partner needs into actionable feedback, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This foundational role requires 8+ years of experience in account management and proven success managing strategic customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in SaaS, marketplaces, and B2B technology, along with strong communication and relationship-building skills. Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or client services roles—preferably in SaaS, self-storage, subscription, marketplace, or B2B technology environment
  • Proven experience managing large, strategic customer relationships, including C-level engagement
  • Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, supply/demand levers, and platform monetization strategies
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and RevOps teams
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills—able to translate customer needs into internal actions
  • Track record of designing scalable customer-facing processes, SOPs, or account communication frameworks
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities and evolving structures
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive outcomes across functions and teams

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a high-impact Account Management function focused on REIT and enterprise Marketplace partners
  • Develop scalable communication, onboarding, and engagement processes, including Marketplace SOPs, QBRs, and outreach cadences - you would be the leader of what and how we communicate with our customers and train others on how and what to communicate so every customer has a consistent experience and message with Marketplace ( Sparefoot.com , SelfStorage.com , Storage.com , etc)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our largest accounts—ensuring they are supported, heard, and growing on the platform
  • Translate partner needs into actionable feedback loops across Product, GTM, and Operations
  • Partner with Product and Operations to support pricing rollouts, adoption of new features, and resolution of reconciliation or billing issues
  • Build deep relationships across partner organizations to position Storable as a strategic, trusted advisor
  • Lead internal account health reviews and partner business reviews to surface insights and unlock growth opportunities
  • Help shape the future structure and hiring plan for scaling account coverage across mid-market and long-tail partners
  • Support the onboarding and enablement of internal Marketplace team members and Success partners
  • Serve as a senior voice in cross-functional planning, aligning customer needs with strategic roadmap decisions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the storage, real estate, or vertical SaaS industries
  • Familiarity with pricing mechanics, revenue reconciliation workflows, or GTM enablement strategies
  • Exposure to marketplace operations, supply-demand management, or dual-sided platforms
  • Prior experience building or scaling a new function or team from the ground up
  • Experience working with REITs, large operators, or other complex B2B customer segments
