Job Description

The Sr. Analyst, Data & Analytics role, will be working with large, complex datasets & leverage statistical techniques to analyze and interpret data, perform variance investigation and root cause analysis, hypothesis testing to drive business decision making along with creating reports based on business reporting needs.

What you will do:

• Deep-dive Analysis: Use statistics based advanced techniques to identify patterns and uncover opportunities. Perform deep dive data analyses to better understand trends and business performance.
• Business Performance Analysis: Provide data analysis support for cross functional stakeholders and conduct root cause analysis for variance explanation when a metric is deviating from expectations, and help drive meaningful insights that support business decision making.
• Opportunity Identification and sizing: Work on opportunity sizing and hypothesis testing to enable business to evaluate trade-offs in different approaches. Partner with business stakeholders to identify and unlock opportunities and with other data teams to improve platform capabilities around data modeling, testing etc.
• Ad Hoc analytics & reporting: Support ad hoc data pull, analysis and reporting requests to deliver synthesized insights to stakeholders with effective visualizations.

Qualifications

• Degree in quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics and 5+ years of experience in a data/analytics role.
• At least 5 years of work experience in SQL and strong excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills to handle complex and large datasets and translating complex reporting /analytics needs into technical specifications.
• Proficiency in A/B testing and strong knowledge of Bayesian and frequentist statistics, including concepts such as correlation, regression and hypothesis testing.
• Experience in using data exploration, visualization & reporting tools such as Tableau.
• Experience with BigQuery, Google Analytics, Segment, Amplitude, Databricks is a plus.
• Track record of working independently/self-starter and solving analytical problems creatively, with clear outcomes and a strong sense of accountability. #LI-AR1

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $95k - $105k base
• Bonus: 10% Management Bonus
