Summary

Join Typeform's Data team as a Senior Data Analyst (R&D) and play a crucial role in shaping data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate actionable insights that optimize performance and drive growth. You will improve data infrastructure, define critical metrics, and foster a culture of experimentation. Key areas of focus include product taxonomy, PLG foundations, and building a culture of world-class experimentation. Use SQL and Python to conduct analyses, develop Looker dashboards, and lead experimentation efforts. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and Python, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a B2B SaaS company
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience analyzing data using Python or R
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience working with Go-to-Market teams ( Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support )

Responsibilities

  • Be a strategic partner – Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales to align analytics initiatives with business objectives. Help prioritize and tackle high-impact analytical challenges
  • Define and standardize key metrics – Work closely with Tracking and Data Engineering to ensure consistent measurement and analysis of critical business metrics
  • Generate impactful insights – Use SQL and Python to conduct deep-dive exploratory analyses, uncover trends, and refine our GTM strategy and Product roadmap
  • Enable self-service analytics at scale – Develop and automate Looker dashboards, empowering non-technical teams to make data-driven decisions
  • Lead experimentation efforts – Design and analyze A/B tests using Growthbook and/or Amplitude, optimizing marketing campaigns and product strategies with data-driven evidence
  • Improving our data infrastructure
  • Defining critical metrics
  • Fostering a culture of experimentation
  • Establish a standardised framework to categorize and measure product features, ensuring clear attribution of their impact on conversion, expansion, and churn
  • Identify key demographic, firmographic, and behavioral signals that correlate with conversion, expansion, and churn . Help refine our understanding of product usage patterns that drive growth
  • Overhaul and optimize our A/B testing tools, systems, and processes to improve the speed, confidence, and quality of decision-making across the company

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in marketing sciences (attribution, experimentation, personalization)
  • Advanced proficiency in Python
  • Experience with dbt
  • Proven ability to build dashboards in Looker and/or Tableau
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
