Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with commercial agreements, focusing on technology and SaaS contracts
• A strong background working in both law firms and in-house at tech companies
• Leadership experience in building legal teams and driving strategic initiatives
• Proven ability to draft, negotiate, and review complex agreements
• Deep understanding of intellectual property, cybersecurity, and data privacy laws
• JD from a top-tier law school and bar membership in good standing

Responsibilities

• Lead and build a scalable legal approach for stakeholders in our Pax8 Cloud Marketplace
• Establish global processes and structures that ensure smooth legal operations
• Collaborate with teams across commerce, finance, marketing, procurement, and more to support key initiatives
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements (SaaS, software, MSAs, SOWs, licensing agreements, etc.)
• Develop and improve contract templates and terms & conditions
• Manage a team of commercial lawyers and paralegals, ensuring high-quality work and growth opportunities
• Stay ahead of industry trends and legal developments, guiding the business through risks and opportunities
