Responsibilities

  • Partner with the management team, consult and resolve compensation issues using creative and strategic approaches
  • Develop, implement, and manage the Company’s compensation program which aligns with the company’s business goals while ensuring competitive and fair compensation
  • Maintain a compensation structure/philosophy and classifications system, define job levels and families, compile market data and establish pay parameters
  • Manage ongoing employee compensation programs includes annual salary adjustments, promotion awards and equity programs
  • Support the design and administration of executive compensation packages, including equity grants, bonuses, and other incentive programs
  • Lead the team through year-end compensation cycles, ensuring smooth execution and managing within internal and external controls
  • Actively participate in the commission plan design sessions with the leadership team
  • Participate, analyze, and interpret market data
  • Direct activities related to compensation survey participation, market analysis, trends and practices and evaluate the organization’s market competitiveness
  • Complete special studies and recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, sales compensation or company pay equity
  • Support the creation of material for the Compensation Committee
  • Consolidate information and produce reports to be used for management decision-making
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit processes are developed, approved, and followed
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of legislation and work closely with legal to ensure existing policies comply with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
