Remote Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in an FP&A role within a service organization (preferably in a software company)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field of study
• CPA designation is required
• Dynamic, diplomatic, and methodical with lots of initiative
• Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Adaptive Planning or similar planning tools
• Demonstrated ability to interface with various levels of management and provide ongoing financial advice
• Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing FP&A support , acting as trusted business Partner by turning data into actionable insights
• Support the FP&A team with monthly analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, including cost, resource, business case and special project analysis
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor KPIs and financial metrics
• Identify business trends and gaps, offering recommendations to senior management
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of FP&A processes by leveraging current software tools
• Assist in various ad-hoc analyses and projects, focusing on strategic growth and initiatives
• Play a key role in the control framework while driving efficiency and continuously reviewing operating expenses against budget
