As a Senior Program Manager, Payer Operations, you will lead the implementation of new initiatives and ongoing management of existing processes and programs, driving strategic build-out and evolution of the payer operations function.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of cross-functional experience in high-growth startups and/or healthcare systems
  • Strong working knowledge of healthcare operations, claims processes, and payer-provider relationships
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives on time
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking with attention to detail
  • Collaborative leader who thrives in a culture of accountability, teamwork, and entrepreneurship

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the long-term strategy for the payer operations function
  • Lead as well as build a team to support cross-functional coordination and program management
  • Monitor the end-to-end health of payer programs, reporting performance metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Design and implement measurable, scalable processes that support efficient operations and future expansion
  • Manage payer relationships by representing operational performance, addressing partner concerns, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Act as a strategic thought partner, collaborating closely with Strategy, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
