ABOUT THE TEAM

Technology is at the core of what we do at Basis Global Technologies.  Our Engineering teams design and develop features and integrations for Basis, our industry-leading, comprehensive software solution, that make our company a leader in our industry.  Our platform processes over 300 billion events per day and uses AI and machine learning to automate and simplify the entire digital campaign process.

This team is all about data—to create value from data, the engineering organization leverages cross functional teams to deliver insights that benefit the company and its customers and make Basis an industry standard.

WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE

This role is on a team that is responsible for maintaining production systems and resolving technical issues.  The team ensures high availability and security for the company’s technology assets while also working on projects that enhance and expand the company’s technology landscape.

• Resolving technical issues critical to business needs
• Supporting internal engineering teams
• Maintaining company technology solutions
• Monitoring systems and performance tuning
• Creating automated tasks and workflows to reduce repetitious work
• Supporting software automation processes (CI/CD)
• Participating in 24x7 on-call rotation

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• 5 - 10 years’ experience in Linux Systems Engineering
• 5-10 year’s experience in a systems engineering / administration environment
• Advanced knowledge of AWS infrastructure and infrastructure management with Terraform
• Expertise in monitoring, graphing, and configuration management systems (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, SaltStack, Ansible)
• Proficient coding skills (Python, Bash)
• Strong background in database management

BONUS POINTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• AWS certification(s) or training(s)
• Snowflake experience, certification(s) or training(s)

$111,000 - $184,000 a year

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual salary is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process. The total compensation package for this position may also include commission or bonus, company equity, and competitive benefits.
