As a Social Media Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing publication, and collaborating with the fact-checking team.

Requirements

• 2-3 years experience in Social Media Management
• Excellent written English grammar and spelling (Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Assamese a bonus)
• Strong experience with social media publishing and analytics tools and software
• Working knowledge of video editing apps like Canva, InVideo, Premier Pro is preferrable
• Ability to work at speed on complex projects

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the fact-checking team to gather assets for social media
• Create multi-format social media content, including videos, static graphics, and emerging formats
• Manage content publication using social media tools (we use Loomly) and apply best practices
• Write engaging, platform-specific social media content for various audiences
• Assist the editorial team by sourcing and creating images for their stories
• Work as part of a global team (strong English skills required)
• Monitor, evaluate, and engage with our social media audience
