Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of one - two years of accounting experience
• Workday experience a plus
• Intermediate/Advanced usage Microsoft Excel, basic Microsoft Word
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional written, verbal, and communication skills
• Must be organized and able to work as a team associate

Responsibilities

• Exemplify the Reeds' Mission and Core Business Values
• Review and research assigned stores/corporate department financial statements
• Complete assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare monthly journal entries and other month end accruals related to core areas of responsibility
• Provide detailed analyses and explanations of transactions
• Assist with month-end close and financial statement review process
• Support annual external audits
• Research, compile, and analyze data in conjunction with special projects
