Tour Operations Specialist

Summary

Join Ventura TRAVEL, a group of specialized travel brands, as a Tour Operations Specialist and contribute to smooth operations by providing exceptional service and timely, accurate responses to stakeholders. You will manage tour guide and reservation operations, oversee existing provider partners, and research new ones. This role involves international collaboration with a team spread across different offices, with English as the working language. While the team is currently full, they are rapidly growing, and opportunities may arise soon. This position is open to remote applicants.

Responsibilities

• Create reservations and operations of trips
• Checking invoices, prepayments, and expenses
• Be the main contact person for service providers and tour guides
• Negotiate with service providers: ensuring the highest quality standards and competitive provider prices for our growing portfolio of trips in different parts of the world, mainly Namibia and Botswana
• Make decisions in favor of cost-efficiency without compromising on quality
• Find quick and cost-efficient solutions to operational emergencies and support tour guides on the ground

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in German or French
• Prior operational experience in Namibia or Botswana
• Prior operational experience in the tourism industry
