Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in Product Design, UX, or UI, with a focus on developer tools and SaaS applications for high-growth technology companies
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, preferably within SaaS or developer tools environments
  • Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices and their impact on user experience
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes, particularly in SaaS or technical products
  • Experience in design iteration and building strong connections with users
  • Involvement in products transitioning from 0 to 1, balancing short-term and long-term design objectives
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and chaos in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand the needs and pain points of our developer audience
  • Create journey maps, and wireframes to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions
  • Design intuitive interfaces for our developer tools, ensuring alignment with best practices in usability and accessibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into engaging design specifications
  • Utilize your knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices to inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and enhance our product offerings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of owning and driving user experience design projects from research and concept through to implementation
  • Exceptional communication skills in oral, written, and visual formats, with the ability to present design concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders
