Requirements

  • Proven expertise in operations management, fleet management, and logistics within the transportation, automotive, or short-term rental industry
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making
  • Effective team leadership and development skills, with a history of managing large-scale, multi-location operations
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, with a talent for cross-functional collaboration
  • Strategic thinking, with a record of driving growth and operational excellence in competitive markets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Transportation, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within transportation or automotive sectors
  • Strong understanding of fleet management, logistics, and supply chain dynamics
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in the transportation industry, including electric vehicles, shared mobility, and digital platforms

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency, growth, and profitability across all short-term segments in the U.S., ensuring alignment with broader company goals
  • Oversee and manage daily operations, including fleet management, logistics, maintenance, and customer service, while ensuring safety, compliance, and cost-effectiveness
  • Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) across all locations, promoting operational excellence and consistent service quality
  • Guide a high-performing team of Regional Sales and Operations Managers and partner with operations personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Manage budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring operational profitability and optimizing cost structures and pricing strategies to support revenue growth
  • Oversee fleet maintenance, utilization, and inventory levels, ensuring a well-optimized fleet mix that meets safety standards and maximizes operational efficiency
  • Cultivate a customer-first approach by developing processes that exceed customer expectations, improving the overall customer journey and strengthening brand loyalty
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, implementing risk management and safety protocols, and managing escalations swiftly
  • Identify market trends and new business opportunities, adapting operations to ensure a competitive position within the industry
