Remote Vice President of Software, Applications and Platform

Summary

Join our team as VP, Applications & Platform Software and drive the development and delivery of our next-generation robotics platform and customer-facing robot applications.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of production robotics experience
• 15+ years of experience in software development and architecture
• Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams
• Proven experience in building and managing large-scale, distributed software systems
• Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies
• Authorization to work in the USA

Responsibilities

• Own the design, building, and support of our Management Platform product
• Own the development of customer facing applications that are part of the robot workflows executed in the field
• Own the design, building and management of our cloud infrastructure that supports the enterprise and products
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure that the platform meets the needs of our customers and supports our company's strategic and business objectives
• Establish and enforce technical standards and best practices for software development
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the development of the Arc product
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Applications & Platform Software team
• Manage and mentor a team of talented engineers
• Represent the Applications & Platform team at senior leadership-level meetings and presentations
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the robotics industry
