Join an exciting portfolio of projects across multiple large global organisations as a VirtualResource project manager. You will be managing a portfolio of projects and reporting up to founders on status, requiring strong analytical, project management, communication and leadership skills.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience
- 3+ years of ERP implementation or Tech solution deployment experience
- Experience with Workday deployment will be a huge advantage
- Outstanding communication and facilitation skills
- Depth in project management standard methodologies with the ability to tailor for VirtualResource
- Experience managing risks, issues, and decisions
- Shown success in creating efficient business processes and willing to challenge the status quo
- Proven ability to complete multiple tasks under time constraints
- Leads change laterally across regions and organizations using influencing skills
- Maintains a positive attitude
- Thrives in an ambiguous work environment
- Passed Matric / Grade 12
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of projects and report up to founders on status
- Collaborate with projects globally to ensure they are sufficiently managed, and help drive implementation activities
- Manage teams across functional boundaries, both internal and external
- Develop, implement and evaluate strategic plans, goals and objectives
- Contribute to the production of program reports, materials, and content
- Oversee program plans and tracking of progress and changes
- Provide and communicate overall vision and direction for program
- Assist in the management and supervision of program staff
- Manage and complete assigned work plan objectives and projects on a timely basis
- Seek opportunities to make improvements to team efficiency and process
- Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- Project manager Courses e.g. PRINCE2
- College or University Degree in HR or Information Systems
- Any ERP system experience (eg SuccessFactors, Peoplesoft, SAP)
- Software Design Courses
