Join Caylent, a cloud native services company, as a Resource Coordinator to support Delivery and Operations in project setup and resource planning. You will be responsible for project onboarding, determining resource needs, matching demand with supply, and verifying adherence to project processes. This role requires prioritizing multiple responsibilities and collaborating across the organization. You will coordinate resource allocation, work with project leads to identify needs, track utilization, and generate reports. You will also identify opportunities to optimize resource usage and improve processes. Maintain accurate records and resolve resource-related issues.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 2 years of work experience in business operations or resource capacity planning
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills to ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with staff and leadership across functional-departments to complete tasks
- Experience in resource and capacity management
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule the allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials for various operational tasks and projects. Ensure that resources are used efficiently and in line with business priorities
- Work closely with project directors, managers and team leads to identify resource needs for specific projects and ensure that all necessary resources are available and properly allocated in a timely manner
- Monitor resource utilization, provide forecasting, track resource availability, and generate reports on resource allocation and efficiency. Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on resource status and any issues that may arise
- Identify opportunities to optimize resource usage and improve processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and operational smoothness across the organization
- Maintain accurate records of resource schedules and utilization data. Ensure proper documentation for all resource-related activities
- Address and resolve any resource-related issues or conflicts that may arise, working with various teams to troubleshoot and find solutions
- Collaborate with other departments, including human resources, logistics, and finance, to ensure resources are effectively allocated and operational objectives are met
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to develop operational processes, templates and standards around project setup and engagement compliance
- Familiarity with google sheets and/or excel functionality
- Familiarity with Certinia/Salesforce
- Knowledge of project management disciplines, methodologies and tools
