Summary
Join Aetion, a global leader in science-driven healthcare technology, as a Financial Analyst (Revenue). You will support a high-performing finance team, contributing to the financial strength of our fast-paced, growing organization. This role involves a keen understanding of Aetion's business and various accounting and financial activities. You will be responsible for monthly revenue close, forecasting, and analysis, as well as collaborating on budgets and reporting. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in NetSuite ERP, and a deep understanding of US GAAP. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years in Accounting or similar role
- In-depth understanding of US GAAP, specifically ASC606 Revenue Accounting
- Proficiency in NetSuite ERP
- Advanced understanding of MS Excel and GSheets
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Responsibilities
- Monthly close of revenue according to US GAAP
- Analyze and forecast revenue across all end markets and customers to provide comprehensive picture of Aetionβs top-line financial health
- Monitor revenue trends, variances, and other key performance indicators and escalate to appropriate party when needed
- Implement processes and tools to improve revenue analysis and forecasting over time
- Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes with a focus on revenue recognition and reconciliation
- Collaborate in the creation of revenue forecasts and company budgets
- Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to anticipate changes in Aetionβs business
- Partner with Client Partners teams to ensure that pricing strategies align with revenue and ACV goals
- Analyze and report on Commercial spend, including variances relative to budget, prior forecasts, and Revenue / Bookings attainment
- Determine commissions according to the company sales incentive plan
- Provide insights on revenue and profitability across customers, products, channel, etc
- Support Commercial Operations in KPI and other reporting as needed
- Facilitate subsequent evolution and maturity of revenue modeling within Workday Adaptive
- Develop and provide revenue reporting and analysis as needed
- Develop and maintain Dashboards for company wide publication
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively on a team
- Experience in Workday Adaptive Planning
